We want to minimize the company's negative impact on the environment by ensuring that all activities are planned and carried out in compliance with legislation and the standards held by BaltShip A/S.
Our programme helps us identify and monitor environmental aspects that we are able to control and influence. In practical terms it means that we have documented and implemented an environmental management system ensuring:
- Integration of environmental considerations in all relevant working routines.
- Engagement of employees at all levels to assume responsibility for – and participate in – environmental activities.
- Procurement at suppliers that deliver environmentally sound services and products.
Our environmental programme is certified according to the international ISO 14001 standard.
